[bt-devel] should I install KDE2 via rpm's?

Since I have been having so much trouble with compiling BibleTime-0.24, and
also since understandably more attention is geared toward the latest beta on
KDE2, I wonder if I shouldn't try installing KDE2 and then go from there? At
least then the feedback I have would be for something a little more current,
helpful, and relevant, no? :-)

Anyone have any experience installing KDE2 beta from rpm's on Mandrake
7.1 and compiling BibleTime .3x on top of that?
