Well why does KDevelop create a script. I don't quiet understand the reason. 
Maybe we should first try to find out why it works this way. Is it the new KDE2 style? 
I didn't even reckon it :)

Please test if everything works ok (compiling, debugging, installing) then you can replace the files.
