I will take a look at KColorButton... I just decided to try the first thing
that I could get to work. The learning is fun!
Also, I would like thoughts concerning placement of values in the rc file.
My initial direction (which can be changed obviously) is to place all
similar values in a similar group. Therefore we could have the following
(just examples, may not be completely accurate):
[Fonts]
Presenter=Courier,12,0,50,0,0
Printer=Clean,11,0,50,0,0
[Colors]
Background=255,255,255
Text=0,0,0
...
First, a major question, do we want to use the Qt Palette (I forget the
exact name) and store all colors in one entry, or do we want to keep
individual settings?
Second, the 0.2x model was to store the values in groups by function (i.e.
[Document Viewer]) Is this method preferred for the other programmers?
The options dialog will be used infrequently compared to the other parts of
the program, so I think we should do it in whichever way is most efficient
for the presenters, and other modules. Should I switch to a similar logic
for the new version?
I am flexible in either case.
