I'm having this too and have been looking into it with little success.  The
problem I am having appears to be identical to the one described above.
Black on black with white highlighting when the cursor is over the
appropriate menu option.

I am using today's CVS for bibletime and kdelibs / qt-copy from Saturday (Jan
29).   Is this likely a config option file (or lack of thereof)?  If so,
where is this set so I can change it to some sane settings.

I'll keep looking...
