	We also had this question with the windows frontend.  What we do is
this.

	If verse is requested changed
		change verse
	If chapter is requested changed
		change verse to 1
		change chapter
	if book is requested changed
		change verse to 1
		change chapter to 1
		change book

Maybe it's not what your users will want but it has stopped the
complaining on the windows side.
