[bd-users] Build progress?

I'm a little fuzzy on how to update my version of BD.  I'm using the
portable version from crosswire.org/~dmsmith/bd/.

I've tried just pulling certain files off the ftp and manually inserting
them into the archive.  Didn't work. Broke BD. I'm not up for anything
more technically challenging without a guide.

The file I downloaded is named bd.zip.  No version or date information,
or anything.  Maybe I should be getting the equivalent file somewhere
else?

Specifically, I pestered DM for some fixes, and he was working on some
upgrades, back in early Feb., and if any progress has been made, I'm
unclear on how to take advantage of that.
